What is Feuerstein's Instrumental Enrichment (FIE)?
Developed more than 40 years ago, FIE is a cognitive intervention program that has proven to be particularly effective in meeting the challenges of special needs children, rehabilitation in individuals with brain injuries, and enrichment in underachieving children. FIE helps those of any age to “learn how to learn” by enhancing thinking skills. As an added benefit, it can improve a student’s sense of responsibility – even reduce behavioral issues.

Expanding learning ablility
Learning Lab educators who teach FIE skills and techniques have all been professionally trained in the discipline and certified to instruct others. Learning Lab educators have taught critical thinking using FIE successfully for more than five years to students of all ages with noteworthy results.
FIE is a learned discipline based on the premise that intelligence is malleable and dynamic that will serve those who know it for life. Innovative exercises and specialized learning instruments nudge, build, and expand the student’s thinking and learning ability.
