Poor reading skills make all learning difficult. Learning Lab can assess reading problems and help solve them.
Students without effective reading skills are often frustrated in the classroom, do poorly on tests and develop a dislike forschool and learning. The longer parents wait to improve their child’ s reading, the longer it takes the child to catch up.
Even for adults, it’s never too late to become a better reader with the help of a reading tutor.

- Poor performance on tests
- Weak spelling and writing skills
- Difficulty in number reversals and recalling math facts
- Dyslexia
Help for students with dyslexia
Dyslexia is a language-based learning disability. It is not a vision problem, and it does not indicate low intelligence.
Reading and spelling often prove difficult for someone with dyslexia, even though dyslexic children and adults may excel at speaking and oral language. Some can understand information they hear, yet are unable to read it.
The Learning Lab Reading Center offers expert dyslexia testing and tutoring for children and adults.
