Why I’m With Learning Lab

Education has always been my calling. In 1985 my husband, David Elkins, and I, along with a few other dedicated therapists, created this amazing resource for education and psychology to serve families in Middle Tennessee. Assessing needs, collaborating with parents, teachers and specialists, and developing programs and interventions that connect learning with success… Well, what could be more fulfilling?!
My Credentials and Experience

I have a Master’s degree in education and experience as a classroom teacher. I have also written and published curriculum, and have been a consultant for a nearby school district prior to becoming Director of Learning Lab in 1988.
