Why I’m With Learning Lab

I am with Learning Lab because of my experience with various student learning differences. I enjoy the challenge of figuring out how a student learns best and adapting my teaching style to fit his or her individual learning styles.
My Credentials and Experience

Prior to accepting the position of Homeschool Coordinator, I was a mathematics tutor at Learning Lab. I also worked at Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital and Nashville Academy as a teacher, counselor and administrator. In all of these roles, I worked with students with varied learning differences.

How I Make a Difference
As Homeschool Coordinator, I am responsible for all areas of homeschooling including scheduling, counseling and meeting with parents, students and teachers. My staff and I have helped make learning fun and easy for students who have traditionally not enjoyed school. I have seen high school students come to us as non-readers, graduate, and go on to college. These kinds of success stories are so rewarding for me personally.
